How how can I join Birkenhead Toastmasters?

Firstly, come along to one of our members night and see Toastmasters in action. See for yourself how the club is run, meet both new and experienced Toastmasters and hear first hand how Toastmasters has helped other members achieve their personal and business goals.

You can attend up to 3 meetings as a guest at our club for free before we will actively seek your membership to our club!!

What does it cost?

All Toastmasters club members pay a 6 monthly subscription to Toastmasters International + a local club fee to keep the club viable ( to cover general operating costs such as general office supplies, training material, meeting room hire etc). These fees vary from club to club. At Birkenhead Toastmasters, our semi-annuals are currently set at NZ$80.00 per member. Depending on the time of the year, the total cost to join (first 6 month plus the joining fee) is around $120 - $140.

What do I get for my subscription?

As a new member you will get a new members pack containing:

As a paid up Birkenhead Toastmasters, you can attend club meetings for no additional cost, and you will be enrolled in our Club development speaking programme. You can set your own pace for preparing for and completing the first 10 speeches. We will provide all the support and guidance you need to develop your speaking skills, either with a mentor to work with or just when you feel you need help.
